Objectives of the bootcamp
Join us for an immersive three-day bootcamp that will dive into the exciting world of ComfyUI. Designed for beginners, this program is perfect for those looking to acquire new skills in VFX and AI. No prior experience is required, as each step is carefully guided and explained, allowing you to progress at your own pace.
During this bootcamp, you will explore the various workflows that this innovative tool can offer. While the term “AI” generates much excitement and sometimes controversy, this course will cover the fundamentals of image and video generation. Although these concepts can be fun to discover, they are also essential for mastering more advanced techniques, such as inpainting, outpainting, and creating depth and normal maps. These tools will be particularly useful for VFX artists, helping them automate technical tasks without compromising the creative aspect and the artist’s central role.
By the end of this bootcamp, you will be comfortable with the ComfyUI interface, capable of creating your own workflows tailored to your specific needs, and ready to keep up with future advancements in this rapidly evolving field. Join our 10.5-hour live video bootcamp, which takes place in small groups of 8 people. Specifically, the bootcamp runs for 3 hours per day over the course of 3 days, scheduled at 5pm CEST / 8am PST / 11am EST. Throughout the bootcamp, you will benefit from daily assignments between classes. In addition, you will receive 1 hour and 30 minutes of one-on-one mentoring with the instructor. This personalized guidance will be split up each day, thereby ensuring that you get tailored support and feedback.
Evaluation & Certification
Final project
By the end of the Initiation Bootcamp to AI for VFX, you will complete a concrete case study. If you succeed, you will receive a skill certificate from Meet Your Legend. This certificate, endorsed by industry legends, will signify your achievement. If you do not succeed, you can retake the evaluation at a later date.

- Familiarity with operating a computer and its OS (OSX, Windows, or Linux)
- Optional: Having ComfyUI installed. We’ll take time to have an introduction to guide you through the process of installing it
