Demoreels and Recruitment: tips and insights

Kenza graduated from ARTFX in 2019 and, shortly thereafter, started her career as a Character Artist at AMOPIX. There, she honed her skills in character design and development. Afterward, she moved to FIX Studio VFX, where she transitioned into Coordination and Recruitment. This change provided her with a comprehensive understanding of the workflow and team dynamics essential for successful project delivery.

At Illumination Studio Paris, Kenza’s responsibilities expanded significantly. Specifically, she oversaw multiple departments, including Modeling, Surfacing, Rigging, Fix Animation, CFX, Matte Painting, Lighting, Compositing, and Pipeline. Her leadership was crucial in producing major animated features such as Despicable Me 4, Migration, Sing 2, and The Super Mario Bros.. As a result, her coordination between various departments ensured a seamless production process and high-quality output.

Following her time at Illumination Studio Paris, Kenza joined Rodeo FX. There, she managed an even broader array of departments, such as Production, CG Supervision, Previs, Layout, Matchmove, CFX, Rigging, Crowd, and Animation. Additionally, she handled relations with creative schools, thereby fostering a strong connection between academia and industry. This effort ensured a steady influx of new talent.

Currently, Kenza is dedicated to sharing her extensive knowledge and experience with future talents in the industry. With this intention, she aims to equip them to contribute effectively and thrive in their future roles.
