ABOUT PRIYANK MURARKA
Priyank Murarka has over a decade of VFX experience, beginning his career at studios like Zoic, MPC, and Sony Pictures. Initially, he developed his visual effects skills. Later, he moved into production management, enhancing his leadership abilities. At companies like Method Studio and DNEG, he gained deep project insights. This mix of technical and managerial expertise has given him a comprehensive understanding of the VFX industry.
Passionate about teaching, Priyank started mentoring aspiring artists. This passion led him to his current role as the Director of the VFX Program at the Centre for Entertainment Arts (CEA). At CEA, he shapes the VFX curriculum, ensuring it meets industry standards. He also prepares students for the professional world. Additionally, he builds industry partnerships, offering students networking opportunities and real-world experience. His guidance helps students reach their career goals.
Priyank also founded VFX Engine, a platform for mentorship, demo reel reviews, and career advice. VFX Engine helps artists build strong portfolios and navigate the job market. Priyank provides personalized feedback and practical advice, helping artists refine their skills and advance their careers.
